I regularly speak in academic and non-academic settings about the situation of refugees, mostly Syrians, in Syria, neighbouring states, and Germany/Europe; about human mobility in the context of (global) environmental change, political violence and persecution; about environmental conflicts, especially water conflicts and the security implications of climate change; as well as about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Occasionally I am also asked to give an overview about the global conflict arena.
